LIGHT FANTASTIC

“Light Fantastic / Projected Light” by Mike Leonard, 1968
Various shots show architect Mike Leonard setting up equipment for a light show; several lenses, patterned and shaped pieces of glass are fitted together.
Moving coloured lights are shone through these objects from a projector, making intricate patterns on a wall. Commentator suggests that apart from psychedelic light shows “it can be used for shop windows, special theatre effects and even in the home as an everlasting, ever-changing wallpaper”.
C/Us of several variations of moving light patterns to the accompaniment of mystic sitar music. It must look quite spectacular on the cinema screen.

If you had been a follower of mine at the start of this blog. I’m sure you’ve noticed the decline in publishing my own posts. For that I apologize. I was so caught up in the wonderful incantation that is tumblr, that I had forgotten to stick to just publishing my own posts with subjects /themes images, music, videos, art etc; that I am wholeheartedly interested in. And that others - like minded might find appealing. Therefore, I will from this moment going forward; publish my own posts. I won’t diverge too much from re-posting other people’s stuff, but I will be more selective and minimal in doing so.
Thank you for following,
-June
